Al’s music career began at Universal Music Group in 1992 as an intern. He was able to quickly convert that opportunity into a job. During his 7 years with the company he helped develop the careers of Beck, Eminem, Counting Crows, Blink 182 and Weezer to name a few. His 12-year run on the label side ended at EMI owned Higher Octave Music where he served as Product Manager overseeing all marketing activity for the label.
Al transitioned to the world of music for advertising in 2004 as Director of Business Development at Elias Arts. That was followed by stints at Primary Wave Music Publishing, Pulse Music/Thinkmusic.com and Massive Music. In 2008, Al founded the music representation company ARMM. Placement highlights include: Samsung, Toyota, VW, Google, Bacardi, HBO, Trident, and Lowes.
